What is data types ?

Data type is the types of data which you want to store in a variable. Data type is the main part of the programs. Variety of data types is available for the programs or applications. Data type can be integer, float etc. There are 3 basic types of data types:

1. Primary or Inbuilt Data Type

2. Derived Data Type

3. User Defined Data Type
