The History of C Language

C is a computer programming language developed at AT & T’s Bell Laboratories of USA in 1972.  It is developed by Dennis Ritchie. It is a structure oriented programming language.  C language is popular because it is reliable, simple and easy to use.
It is also a powerful, flexible, portable and reliable language. The C language is developed after the B language. B language is developed by Ken Thompson in 1970.
The first modern language is ALGOL short for ALGOrithmic Language. It is a first computer language to use a block structure. ALGOL is originally developed in the mid-1950s. In 1967, BCPL (Basic Combined Programming Language) is developed by Martin Richards. After the BCPL a new language is designed, called B. B has the many features of BCPL language.
After the B language, C is developed. C was developed from ALGOL, BCPL and B Language.
