C is a
computer programming language developed at AT & T’s Bell Laboratories of
USA in 1972. It is developed by Dennis
Ritchie. It is a structure oriented programming language. C language is popular because it is reliable,
simple and easy to use.
It is also a powerful, flexible, portable and reliable
language. The C language is developed after the B language. B language is developed
by Ken Thompson in 1970.
The
first modern language is ALGOL short for ALGOrithmic Language.
It is a first computer language to use a block structure. ALGOL is originally
developed in the mid-1950s. In 1967, BCPL (Basic Combined Programming Language)
is developed by Martin Richards. After the BCPL a new language is designed,
called B. B has the many features of BCPL language.
After
the B language, C is developed. C was developed from ALGOL, BCPL and B
Language.
